Check your tin
Scan the QR code on the sticker with your phone camera. The code fills in by itself. Then scratch the silver box and type the PIN under it.
Demo for testing: PP-7K3M-9QX2 with PIN 4821 (original), PP-AB12-CD34 (already checked) or any other code (not found).
Older tins · no sticker
Check the batch number
Older tins have no sticker. Type the batch number printed on the lid or the side of the tin.
Signs of fake paint
- The Prestige logo on the lid is not pressed in, or looks rough.
- The label print is blurry, or the colours look washed out.
- The tin feels lighter than normal, or is not full.
- The paint is very watery or has a strange smell.
- The price is far cheaper than at an official depot.
How it works
Three quick steps
- Scan the QR codeEvery new tin has its own code. No two tins share one.
- Scratch and type the PINThe PIN is hidden under silver, like a recharge card. A fake seller can copy a QR code, but not a PIN he cannot see.
- See your answerThe page tells you straight away if your tin is original.
What the answers mean
✓ OriginalCode and PIN match, first check. Enjoy your paint.
⚠ Already checkedSomeone checked this code before. If you didn't, the sticker may be copied.
✕ Not foundPrestige never made this code. Don't buy it, and report it to us.
The hologram sticker tears if someone peels it off, so it can't be moved to another tin.
